Memoirs
- Around age 10 at my grandmother's, a donkey named Jack felled me and subsequently laid on me. Never knew why. Wasn't injured, though.
Notable Pets
- Grandmother also had a reddish-brown dachshund called 'Lady', and another one that had to be put down because it was violent.
- Used to have a horse named 'Pony' (which was a pony) that was sold to someone in Sorø.
- Used to have a dog called 'Snøfte' (snuffle), which had to be put down due to knots.
- Used to have a dog called 'Fritz', which had to be put down due to old age.
- Cat named 'Godot' which vanished.
- Cat named 'Mogens' which was put down due to cat-HIV.
- Cat named 'Mulle' (mother of the above two and others), which was put down due to cat-HIV.
- Cat named 'Caesar' which was run over.
- Cat named 'Cleopatra' which got locked in some cellar, but was also sick at the time.
- Cat named 'Louis Pio', which is still alive.
- Cat named 'Svelle' which doesn't belong, but still visits for most of the day.
- Three turtles, also still alive.
